Images circulating on social media reveal Alevis being tied to trees, tortured, and left to die. These acts expose the systematic violence carried out by radical groups against the Alevi community.

Destruction of Sacred Sites
Alevi shrines and places of worship are being targeted and destroyed. These attacks not only erase religious symbols but also aim to obliterate the cultural and historical heritage of the Alevi community.

Forced Displacement
In regions with a significant Alevi population, people are being forcibly removed from their homes, and their properties are being confiscated. This puts the Alevi community’s existence and future at grave risk.

The European Federation of Alevi Unions has called for solidarity, declaring, "Just as we resisted in Karbala, we will resist today’s oppression." Social media campaigns under the hashtag "HandsOffAlevis" urge global awareness and action.
